I consider myself a pizza fanatic. I can eat pizza three times/day all week long. I am actually a coin dealer/hobbyist and work in the healthcare industry now, but have worked at many pizza restaurants--both chains and mom & pops locations. Sir Pizza and Bill's Pizza Pub serve the best homemade pizza I've ever cooked or eaten. I purchase pizza at Sir Pizza in Randleman, Asheboro, and High Point, NC. I purchase the same pizza at Bill's Pizza Pub in Greensboro, NC.
You can't go wrong with either. Each location is unique, but the pizza is consistent. You won't get this type of atmosphere at one of the big chains. Domino's doesn't even have parmesan cheese! You can ask anyone who's been in the Triad long enough where the best locally-owned pizza can be found and they should direct you to Bill's or Sir Pizza. If they don't, don't ask for any more advice!
