We are mandated by HRSA to use the federal poverty level scale and living expenses are not included. The number of members and the household income determine the fees charged. This is their ability to pay. Our dental facility has also revised the fee schedule. Please have patient to contact dental.
explain what determines the fee charged on a sliding scale. there is no complaint against the services provided by the dentists, only the way merce clinc on fayetteville st. determine cost to the patient. in the meantime my friend is suffering with dental problems due to the excessive or what i consider excessive fees charged to someone with little resources to receive dental care.
why is someone on disability charged $250.00 for 3 fillings when income is considered and no cost of living is taken into consideration??? would someone investigate this facility and its way of determining what it charges people on such low incomes?
